This is the second part of [*Good Investing Principles*.](https://steemit.com/investing/@aleksandraz/good-investing-principles-or-part-one) Last Saturday I’ve shared with you the First Part, so be sure [to click and follow the link](https://steemit.com/investing/@aleksandraz/good-investing-principles-or-part-one) if you’re interested in reading the First part. For the rest of you – my invitation to read the other principles and ponder what is good for you in them. :)
💡 **Have a balance between reinvesting and withdrawing money that you’ve invested** My first huge revenue from investment I’ve used not to by “passives” like house or car, but to buy other “actives”, so that this makes even more money. Truth is, I’ve withdrawn all of my initially invested money after I’ve held my actives for a year. You can do in some other way, to my mind this strategy changes depending on the amount of money you’re investing and getting in return, bet you definitely have to have a strategy. If you withdraw all your money from a successful investment then sooner or later you’ll lose and/or spend all of the money you’ve earned. On the other hand, if you reinvest all the money you’ve earnt from an investment, you then are gambling with all the money you’ve earned, and you should definitely at this point return to the “rule” #1 and ask yourself a question – am I ready to lose all this money? 💡 **Decide on the period of time you’re going to have your money invested in certain asset.** This to some point correlates with the previous one. You should have strategy in your head to know how to act in a stressful situation. To rely on your strategy usually is better than rely on your emotions in a tough situation. 💡 **Diversify** The old good rule. Keep an open mind to new projects and directions, even if you don’t understand those at first glimpse. But don’t also get over excited by ONE direction, be that old or new. For example, if you’re conservative investor and don’t get yourself involved with crypto these days – you lose money, as you lose your great possibilities to earn with big interest. At the same time if you’re an investor up to your ears only in crypto – you’re risking all your money as nobody knows what’ll happen to this new industry tomorrow. Of course, we all hope for the *to the moon* situation, but a wise investor doesn’t keep all his or her eggs in one basket. 💡 **If you lose money – learn.** Don’t act as if it’s just “okay” and it does not matter now. You always can learn and do otherwise next time. So here should be balance. Emotionally you should be ready to lose your money. But strategically it’s important so that you don’t “cut off” that money so that there is possibility to learn a lesson and become smarter and wiser. 💡**Work for passive income** This is my personal aspect of importance. If we speak about the leaders, then it’s Kiyosaki who teaches it a lot. But this is also something I’ve found out for myself through lots of “try and see if it fits”. I must say that I work quite hard and quite a lot. I believe I work at some point more than a lot of people that have “traditional job”. Still, I’ve discovered that working for getting passive income is the only driver that gives me the desire to work hard. I work for myself and make all the needed decisions myself. It’s a really hard work, because you have to know what that decision should be, but still, it’s the only way I like, at least at this point. Also, I feel like this quote by Warren Buffett spells the truth at it’s best:
⬇️⬇️⬇️ FOLLOW, LIKE & SHARE, ⬇️⬇️⬇️ as well as FOLLOW ME on [](https://www.instagram.com/aleksandrazikova/)
