Little Desk Critters-Quick Lightroom How To
I haven't had much time between work to take new photos lately, so I brought my camera to work and wandered around the different desks in the office set to see what I could find. Here are a few little cuties....or creepy, however you see them. To me they're a little creepy if I stare at them more than a few seconds. Haha.

HOW I DID IT:
I shot in RAW with my Sony A7 and my 35mm F1.4 Lens wide open with a +2Diopter filter at around 3200K color temp.

Next onward to Lightroom....I brought the color temp down to 3200k and the magenta tint up to 97. This method works wonderful with warm oranges if you want to turn them into a neon pink.
Now, by bringing the color temp down that low with mostly warm lighting and the temp up so drastic it turned many of the colors blue. I then took the brush tool in Lightroom and painted the animals. Then with that mask created by the brush I changed the color temp of the animals back up to a warmer, more desired color closer to the original color. You could also do the same if you’re doing this effect with a person and you think their face is too blue. I’m a fan of having vibrant background colors while still maintaining natural skin tones.

And that's how I got fun little neon style desk critters with a deep Depth of Field. 😉🙃
