Jack The Crypto Guy, as his friends called him was a bit of a jack of all trades. He was a creative fellow and did a little bit of design, video editing and music. He stumbled upon a place called HIVE a few years back and had been an active member of the community there. Hey figured out that people liked when he made tutorial videos about the tools developed on HIVE or showcasing how to use them in real life. One of his favorite things to do was showing folks how to pay for things using a Dapp called Keychain, a dapp you could use to pay Bitcoin Lightning invoices using HIVE or HBD. One of his favorite things to drink on weekends was beer! so what could be better than to go out for a beer with his girlfriend and make some content for his favorite blogging platform? illustration created from [this image](https://x.com/AGNochez/status/1911192566998982988) which is my own It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and the bartender, Edgar had a nice playlist of carefully curated funky hip hop in the background. The vibe was great. Jack and his girlfriend, Kim joked about coming up with their own app. Neither of them were developers and they didn't have a rock solid idea either. They were mostly just having fun playing around with the idea. You know, when you're just daydreaming about something and you just go with it because the conversation is entertaining? Like that. They ordered a second round and came up with an idea for an app called Bit Gigs where people could post design, video, audio and creative one-off gigs. They even created an X profile for it and make some images right there on the spot. _Looks great!_ said Jack. How about we post our first gig? They both laughed. _I know... let's ask someone to write a haiku about beer_ Said Kim and she typed in the post. They made the bounty $1 in DASH. Surely nobody would bother. After all, they were just playing around. A few minutes later, someone with the handle "PDFIntern" answered the Tweet. > ### _"Golden beer in hand,_ >### _Guatemala sun shines bright—_ > ### _Chains of trust run deep."_ And with it a DashPay QR. They both cracked up in laughter! it worked! Of course now they had to pay up and so they did. They scanned the QR and sent $1 in DASH, just as they had promised. Kim looked over at Jack and still trying to recover from the laughter attack asked "What if it works?" "What if it does?" He asked back. <br> To be continued... #freewrite #dailyprompt
