The pictures made by NASA show that landscapes of Mars can be the most different flowers – from deep brick and black to celestial-blue and turquoise. Photos have been taken by the device MRO (Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter – the prospecting orbital device for Mars) which has been started in space in 2005.

The device has made thousands of photos of Mars, and NASA regularly fills up a collection of the images of high resolution available to everyone. Dunes, valleys, ravines and other features of the Martian landscape are emphasized thanks to position of Mars concerning the Sun and the device, and sometimes really impressive pictures turn out:
