The votes were an even mix of check your phone and go to cottage. So our hero checks his phone. No recent messages. Just normal stuff right up until this morning, then nothing. No notifications even. He picks himself up, stretches, brushes the dust off and heads for the cottage...

...Only to discover it's not empty. There's some sort of massive, muscular humanoid creature with ghastly pale skin asleep in a bed much too large for you. There's a battle axe on the wall, a shelf of skulls, three gold coins on the floor, and a jug behind the bed.
