Bitcoin has been a financial phenomenon for weeks. In just one year its value has skyrocketed and is reaching record trading levels. That momentum of bitcoin responds to the acceptance it has gained among investors and conventional companies. Cryptocurrency is digital money, which is created through computerized code. That means there are no physical coins or bills. They also do not have intermediaries, they are completely decentralized. In other words, it works through a dispersed peer-to-peer network, which replaces an authority such as a central bank.
