Today I will show you how to properly format your text, so that the other Steemians will be happy when reading it.


So if you want to put it in *italic* use one * at the beginning of the phrase and one at the end. 
If you want to put a phrase in **bold** put two ** at the beginning and again two at the end.
Now if you want to have ***italic and bold***... you got it, three is the magic number ***.

>Quotes are also giving us some headaches. So use > in front of the paragraph and all will be good.

Speaking of head aches,

# Heading is done by putting # in front of the paragraph. The more you put the bigger it will be ;)

If you want some [link](https://steemit.com/) to be inserted, use the following construction [text] no space between (https://link)

Creating a bullet list has never been easier. Just put an * without closing it at the beginning of a paragraph.

* point 3
