I want to tell you today that one key factor if you want to make some start capital and invest is to ignore the social pressure and the people around you.

You must know the feeling when somebody asks you out on a Saturday and you don't want to go. You just want to stay at home and rest or do something else, but most of the time you give in and feel tired for the next day.

There is a social pressure to behave like most around you, to have the same thinking and have the same preferences. If you think different you either are not welcomed in the group or forced to change back. In this cases I seek new groups or new friends. It is healthier for me to do so, no time wasting justifying my choices.

You will see that most people will want to keep you down, being your friends, acquaintances or even your relatives. All will say that is not worth to change and that like how you are. If you succeed people will be envy on you.

Ignore them, that would be the best thing, ignore and move on. I lost some acquaintances in the past years because I did not want to remain the same or in the same circle, and know what? I don't feel sorry. And why should I? Most people don't matter and shall not matter to you. What matters is your family and you, that is it. People come and go in our lives and we can learn from each one that passes and we should do that, but don't hold on to persons.

So my advice would be like the British say: keep calm and carry on.
