Last week Ibriefly stopped in Braunau am Inn on the way home. So I wanted to see where one of the worst people of the 20th century was born. Technically, he was born in the 19th century. <br><br>
Just in front of his house I have seen this gem. Someone on Steem has also recognized it correctly. Yes it is a DMC-12 or DeLorean. <br><br>
It was unfortunately not the car with the Flux Capacitor, only the normal DMC-12 with the stainless steel body. <br><br>
The car was developed by DeLorean who was for many years vice president at General Motors. He wanted to change the mentality and build an ethical car there. He did not make it, on the contrary, he had to quit hsi job. <br><br>
He had no money to start the project and that's why he chose a country where he could get state help. Northern Ireland was perfect because of the high unemployment. The British pumped him with money because he wanted to change the world. In 1981, the DMC-12 came on the market and in 1982, the company went bankrupt. It was not built economically enough. <br><br>
This story is very similar to today's Tesla where the company is kept alive only by the money of the state. <br><br>
I was happy to see the car because it reminded me of movies from my childhood like Back to the Future.

vorige Woche habe ich kurz in Braunau am Inn gestoppt auf dem Weg nach Hause. Da wollte ich sehen wo einer der schlimmsten Menschen des 20 Jahrhundert geboren wurde. Technisch ist er in dem 19 Jahrhundert geboren.<br><br> 
Genau vor seinem Haus habe ich dieses Prachtstück gesehen. Jemand auf Steem hat es auch richtig erkannt. Ja es ist ein DMC-12 oder DeLorean. <br><br> 
Es war leider nicht das Auto mit dem Flux Capacitor, sondern nur das normale DMC-12 mit Edelstahl Karosserie. <br><br>
Das Auto wurde von DeLorean entwickelt der viele Jahre bei General Motors Vizepräsident war. Er wollte dort die Mentalität ändern und ein ethisches Auto bauen. Er hat es nicht geschafft, ganz im Gegenteil, er musste kündigen. <br><br>
Er hatte kein Geld das Projekt zu starten und darum hat er sich ein Land ausgesucht wo er Staatshilfe bekommen konnte. Northern Irland war perfekt wegen der höhen Arbeitslosigkeit. Die Briten haben ihn mit Geld aufgepumpt weil er wollte die Welt ändern. 1981 kam das DMC-12 auf den Markt und 1982 ging die Firma pleite. Es war nicht wirtschaftlich gut genug gebaut. <br><br>
Diese Geschichte ähnelt sehr viel an das heutige Tesla wo die Firma nur durch das Geld des Staates am Leben gehalten wird.<br><br>
Ich war froh das Auto zu sehen, weil es hat mich an Filme aus meiner Kindheit erinnert wie zBsp. Zurück in die Zukunft.
