Hello,

now that we have over a week after the HF21 happened, how do you feel about it?

Do you like it? Do you use all the features?

As Steem is low on price now I did not focus on maximizing returns, where it is kind of counterproductive as when resources are scarce than the focus should be on them.
This time no, I just keep going without tracking the rewards and the impact of them.I shift most of Steem to the account of my son which I try to make it bigger, maybe a whale till he is 18, if Steem is going to exist at that time.

I will not sell Steem and will keep the assets in the Steem Universe, if I trade Steem it will be for steemmonster cards for example.

I'm not a part of the witchhunt against the bidbots, they are here, part of the Steem world. At least they are transparent compared to the offchain selling methods like smartsteem and minnowbooster, which the normal user will not be able to track.

Also to flag somebody, independent of the content is to arbitrary. It is something like religious terrorism as someone tries to impose something in a free market. The beauty of Steem is that it does not have many rules and by flagging everyone using a bidbot is strong against it as someone is trying to impose rules on someone else depending solely on their views of the world. We see this in politics nowadays where extremism is getting wings in both directions, being it green socialism or brown(google the color brown for Nazi Germany before making assumptions) populism. One is activated by the other as on both sides 90% don't belong there but due to the rise of one they feel they belong in the other group.

Now back to my main idea: I do flag spam and plagiarism, this would be my primary focus to get rid of this abusers and then focus on other problems.

I still can't see the difference in voting behavior because of curation. It is to arbitrary to have a curation limit imposed. The best would be to have a slider introduced. Also the rewards shall be SMTs not Steem. Something like the steemengine idea. Steem shall be used to power up the votes for SMTs and shall be the solely exchange possibility for SMTs on the outside world.

I might see some more activity but this can change fast. The main activity driver I've seen on Steem was the Steem price. We would be hypocrites to think different. Guilds can make unknown authors successful but for that the guy who writes needs to be active there. Most people, even if they say they are curating, are voting the friends they've made here on Steem. Also the big voices that are seen on the platform, most of their votes go to their own circle of trust.

This is how I see Steem and for me the main price riser would be the usability and scability of the coin and the network.

How do you see it?
