The biggest premise of blockchain is that it removes the centralised dependency on a "known" or "trustworthy" brand.

[Musicoin](https://musicoin.org/) is doing this by creating a channel between artists through smart contracts. So this is one of those cases where global monopolies (like Sony, DMC) can be taken out of the equation so that a whole industry can be improved.

I haven't bought any MUSIC yet, but I joined [their slack channel](musicoin.slack.com) and after seeing some people's comments and the activity of the developers, I decided to buy soon. Here are some examples:

In the end of the day, that's what it's about. Adding value to people's lives, boosting creativity, increasing happiness.
