Clearing up the garden, day 2.
As it was Bank holiday Monday today in the Uk we went for a walk this afternoon so only had the morning to work in the garden.

Strimming the grass was the first but I left a few areas where flowers were growing.

After pulling some weeds around the top of the pond I had an inspection by the dog to ensure I'd got them all.

At the end of last year I lost one of the shrubs by the pond so I've cleared away the stalks and it seems nature has decided a tree should grow there now.

Not so sure about that, we get tree seedlings taking root all the time that I have to pull out or there would be just trees up there. The weather is supposed to hold for another couple of days so hopefully I can crack on with more tidying up in the morning.
