Your smile can also have that influence on yourself and others.

It is very easy to smile when you are happy but it is not something that you will do when you are sad, but a smile has the power to chase away a bad mood or a sad feeling.

Scientists have found that smiling on purpose can help people feel better. Just the simple act of putting a smile on your face can lead you to feel actual happiness, joy, or amusement.

Have you ever heard the expression "Fake it till you make it"? Sometimes in life we need to do that - act as though we feel more confident that what we are, smile when we actually do not feel like it, but then you will realize the next moment you are actually feeling more happy or confident and the smile will become a real smile.

There's just one trick to making smiling work for you: You need to do it right. A true, genuine smile is called a Duchenne smile. It uses all the muscles in the face, including the "laugh lines" around your eyes. Engaging all these muscles is important, even in a fake smile.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcMduJxC3qM

There are so many advantages of smiling and laughing and one of them is that it will make you feel better and happier. If you laugh, your brain will receive more oxygen and the muscles in your face will relax and your mood will be better and your blood pressure lower, so looking at all the benefits, it is a good idea to rather smile than walk around like a 'bear with a sore toe.'

Your smile or your laugh may start out as 'fake' because you do not want to show others you are in a mood or feeling sad, but luckily for us, laughing is contagious and before you know it, you will be laughing 'for real' and you will even get others to join in.

You have absolutely nothing to loose, so go on and crack a smile.... you will be amazed at how much better it makes you feel and how you can light up the day for the people around you.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyMHt1Gw5rE

https://imgoat.com/uploads/3db85ed909/85709.gif

https://imgoat.com/uploads/3db85ed909/85708.png
