*Memory needs to be constantly trained and improved in order to gain creativity and innovative thinking.* If you want to easily get new information and ideas, you must first listen carefully and focus. First of all, give up the idea of multitasking and do things one by one. The human brain can not really process more things at the same time, and when you focus on more tasks, you repeat the information many times before you get it.  Thanks to the memories, we know what we have done in our lifetime or with who we have built relationships, defining us as people. Therefore, memory loss may mean removing who we really are. Many of us start worrying about the loss of storage power. But what does one do to keep agility and others to experience memory loss? Genes really contribute to preserving the integrity of memory, but they are also influenced by our lifestyle. The brain has the potential to create new cells and neural connections by providing the right stimuls. ### The following simple methods will help you develop your memory and creative side so you can then solve any problems you encounter. **1. Eat healthy** The foods you eat play a crucial role in keeping your memory intact. Fresh vegetables are essential, as is some of the fat. It is crucial to avoid sugar, refined grains and carbohydrates. There are countless studies that accuse the foods listed above for brain function degradation. Instead, curry, celery, broccoli, cauliflower and nuts contain antioxidants and other compounds that protect brain health and even stimulate the production of new neurons. **2. Do exercises** An active lifestyle can enhance the brain's ability to process and remember numerous information. Exercise increases the level of oxygen in the brain and reduces the risk of disorder that is related to memory loss, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Exercise maintains cell health and can also increase the effects of chemicals in the brain.  **3. Train your brain** There are a number of ways you can enhance your memory. An effective strategy is mental exercise to keep the memory sharp. Here are some tips: - Get organized. Keep lists, notes, and keep a daily agenda - Try new, physical and mental activities such as yoga, dance, thai chi or chess. - Play mind games. Make puzzles, crosswords, read as much as possible and try sudoku or scrabble. **4. Laugh every day** You've probably heard that laughter is the best medicine, and that's very true. Unlike other emotional reactions, which are limited to certain areas of the brain, laughter engages more regions of the brain simultaneously. **5. Relax** Physical and mental relaxation helps a lot in improving cognitive function and memory. Relax with meditation, tai chi, yoga or other slow breathing techniques, stimulating your metabolism and using various ways to release muscle tension. Give yourself at least 10 minutes daily to relax and you will notice the difference. <center></center> **6. Sleep longer** An adult needs 7-9 hours of sleep per night to maintain his physical and mental health. Sleep helps us to consolidate our memory in a short or a long term. After sleep, people tend to retain better information and give better results to memory tests. Test participants who slept between two learning sessions remembered 10-16 words more than those who did not sleep.
