.22 or Trap? (Humanely getting rid of pests)
Getting rid of squirrels...out here in the south, breaking out the .22 seems to be the easier solution, however I felt bad for the little critter. So I went to my local tractor supply co. and picked up these traps... and they worked mighty fine!

(Steps to traping)

1) Setting the Bait: (Sunflower seeds works better than peanuts or peanut butter) and line them up the trail leading into the trap.

2) Set the motherload of seeds behind the trap engaging mechanism. (It wont be able to resist).

3) Wait patiently, this little guy took all night to finally go for it!

4)Humanely release at nature preserve...or just use the .22 (might be more fun). We went the more humane route!

Came back home and its mate was eating the rest of the sunflowers...so now we repeat the process...
