## Vanilla Crème Brûlée
Hey Steemians! Today I got another sweet treat. This one is a little dangerous though... haha. It's a lot of fun to make (at least to torch). Also trying a little something new in the video, asmr style :-) I think @waybeyondpadthai and @adetorrent will appriciate these LOL. Enjoy.

### Ingredients
*2 Cups Heavy Cream
⅛ teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Bean Paste
5 Egg Yolks
½ Cup Sugar
Raw sugar (for the top of the crème brulee)*

Start off by heat your oven to 300 degrees. In a saucepan add in cream and salt and cook over low heat just until hot, take it off the heat and add in vanilla bean paste and stir.

Then separate your eggs and egg yolks!

In a bowl medium size bowl, beat yolks and sugar together until light and fluffy. Stir about a quarter of the cream into this mixture, to temper it and then pour sugar-egg mixture into cream and stir until combined.

Pour into ramekins and place ramekins in a baking dish that goes up on the sides; fill the baking dish with boiling water halfway up the sides of the dishes.

Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until centers are barely set. Cool overnight. The next day when ready to serve top each custard with about a teaspoon of raw sugar in a thin layer.

Place ramekins in a broiler 2 to 3 inches from heat source. Turn on broiler. Cook until sugar melts and browns or even blackens a bit, about 5 minutes. Or use a flame torch to melt and brown the sugar on top, allow to fully cool.
