El carnaval llegó y se fué, yo hice parejita con mi hija, ella de Merlina, yo de su compañera de habitación, todo improvisado pero divertido.

Mientras los días de carnaval llegaban mi oficina andaba revolucionada porque a una compañera la seleccionaron para madrina, es decir debía representar a nuestra institución en el concurso de los carnavales laborales del Instituto Nacional de Capacitación y Recreación de los Trabajadores. Me parece bonito que organicen actividades para despejar la mente y distraerse.

Hace un año se celebraron los carnavales por primera vez en muchísimo tiempo en mi trabajo. En 2022 invitaron a un concurso de disfraces de material reciclado y apegado a nuestras costumbres y tradiciones. Cuando nos inscribimos para participar realmente solo queríamos divertirnos y escogimos a una chica con mucho carisma y muy popular para representarnos, una morena bella por demás.

Trabajamos como un gran equipo y ganamos pero no teníamos idea de que eso tendría consecuencias. Nos tocó representar a la institución para el siguiente año y por eso estábamos metidos en esto este 2023.

Mariana, nuestra madrina, acepto, siempre con el mismo espíritu de bochinche. Y cuál fue su sorpresa? El  concurso comprendía 4 ensayos, y al llegar modo relajado al primero les exigieron presentarse a los siguientes con tacones, ya se pueden imaginar la estructura.

Bueno, mientras tanto todo el equipo de apoyo recolectando material de provecho, pintura y silicón. Hicieron maravillas. Solo véanlo en el vídeo.

Con recursos casi inexistentes y un montón de solidaridad fue suficiente para brillar hermosamente

Carnival came and went, I paired up with my daughter, she as Wednesday, I as her roommate, all improvised but fun.

While the days of carnival were arriving, my office was in an uproar because a colleague of mine was selected to be the godmother, that is to say, she had to represent our institution in the contest of the labor carnivals of the National Institute of Training and Recreation of Workers. I think it's nice that they organize activities to clear the mind and distract us.

A year ago, carnivals were held for the first time in a very long time at my work. In 2022 they invited to a costume contest made of recycled material and attached to our customs and traditions. When we signed up to participate we really just wanted to have fun and we chose a girl with a lot of charisma and very popular to represent us, a beautiful brunette.

We worked as a great team and won but we had no idea that it would have consequences. It was our turn to represent the institution for the following year and that's why we were involved in this 2023.

Mariana, our sponsor, accepted, always with the same spirit of bochinche. And what was her surprise? The contest consisted of 4 rehearsals, and upon arriving in relaxed mode to the first one, they were required to present themselves in heels for the following ones, you can imagine the structure.

Well, in the meantime the whole support team was collecting useful material, paint and silicone. They did wonders. Just watch the video.

With almost non-existent resources and a lot of solidarity it was enough to shine beautifully.
