<div class=text-justify> Good day, everyone. Hope you all are doing well. It’s Friday, time to partake in #Marketfriday challenge by @dswigle. It's an interesting challenge to show market places from the corners of the world you happen to come across. It let us understand the cross-cultural differences along with highlighting our similarities. The sharing of experience brings us closer, doesn’t it? So, if you have anything to share about a visit to a market, don’t forget to take part in this lovely challenge. A couple of weeks ago, I went to a super store for buying some products for personal needs. When I went there, I found out that the store is bought by another store owner and so the name of the store was changed. It means I was at the same and different place simultaneously. When I went in, the difference was quite evident. The types of products that used to be in the old store were distinct from this one. Unlike the previous one there were no grocery items but that floor was replaced with accessories like bags, footwear, crockery, toys, beddings etc. The reception and cash counter of the store are prepared with aesthetic sense- beautiful and attractive.  On the ground floor I found the items that have magnetic attraction for any woman. Hehe. There was quite a big range of footwear both for men and women including sandals, shoes, pumpies, and slippers. I took snapshot of a couple of shelves.   How the fancy hand bags and clutches could skip my attention.   I look at them at every market place (where ever they come in front 🤓), however, I buy them less often. I feel like it’s a waste of money to keep acquiring many accessories especially when you have more important needs to fulfil. There were some school bags too. I had to buy one for my son but they were mostly for girls. Moreover, the price were quite high. A bag that was easily available in 700 to 800 Rupees a year ago, now was in 1400 to 1900 range. Kitchen appliances is another thing that grabs my attention. It is one of my dreams to have appliances of various kinds in my kitchen. There were many electronic and manual appliances such as blender, salad cutter, chopper, French fries cutter and much more.   Oh! I desperately wanted to buy some of them. May be some day when the price of Hive would move up, I will be able to equip my kitchen with those lovely products 🥰 The winter arrival was visible via the presence of blankets.  My required products were available on the first floor. I went upstairs and took a look of the goods there. A variety of garments for kids, men and women was present.   Because it is winter season, there were woollen fancy dresses for kids.  I really liked this dress. Its price was 1400 PKR.  There was a section for new-borns and infants too. There were baby bathers, baby blankets, beddings, bibs, shoes, etc.    Whenever I look at small clothes and shoes, young nephews and nieces come in front of my eyes 🥰. Well, after roaming around and taking snapshot I went to the desired section and looked for the required sizes. The sales girl helped me with my purchase. After making payment I went back home. I was comparing the previous store’s experience with this one. It was much better with regard to availability of desired products and staff behaviour. However, I had to change my mind. Though the store is much better than the older one yet there is a need of more professionalism and accuracy. It so happened that after reaching home when I compared the price tag on the product and the price on the payment slip there was a discrepancy in it. The price on the product was Rs. 150 lesser than the price on payment slip. I regretted why I didn’t compare them at the store. I went back to the store and let the sells girl know about difference in prices. She said that she had told me what the price was and that it was more than the price mentioned on bar-code tag. Yes, I remembered she told me the price but I didn’t know when she told of differences. Even if she had told me, does it make sense to have different prices on payment slip and product tag. She told me that the price had increased. She displayed me her computer screen that the price for the product was the one mentioned on payment slip. Fine. I told her if the price had increased, they ought to mention the current price on the product. She was like we cannot remove these tags but the price has increased. Strange. What's the purpose of price tags on products if they do not display the right number. Wouldn’t it count as lack of professionalism causing inconvenience to the customers?
