Hello, steemians, and welcome to my page, eh!

I had to trim some branches off the tree in the back yard yesterday, so I decided to take some video of me doing the trimming.  I had to figure out a way to be able to get up to the branches to be able to cut them off.  In the past, I would put scaffolding in the back of the pickup truck and climb up on it to reach the branches, but we don't have the scaffolding anymore, so I had to come up with another idea.  
I decided to put one of the big water cubes into the back of the pickup, and then put some boards on that to walk on to be able to reach the branches.  I strapped the boards and the cube down with a couple of ratchet straps so that it would be stable while I was standing on it.  Using the truck to do this makes it easy to move what you're standing on to the next spot that you want to trim.
I used the limb loppers for most of the branches that I wanted to remove, but I had to use the electric chainsaw for a couple of them that were too big for the loppers.

This is the basic setup that I used.

Here is the platform on top of the water cube.  I probably should have had another board up there with the other 2, it was a bit narrow.  It did work out pretty well though.
