Wine making, my newest batch
Does anyone else here make wine? I've been making wine for about 6 years now, all small batches, 1-3 gallons at a time. I started my newest batch of wine yesterday, a 2 gallon batch of apple wine.

two gallons of apple cider, 2-1/2 pounds of sugar, and a 3 gallon glass carboy.

I took this picture right before I put the yeast into the carboy. The 3 little containers are the additives that the recipe calls for, yeast nutrient, pectic enzyme, and acid blend. The wine yeast that I used for this batch is Premere Cuvee, it's a good yeast for sweet wines, and it produces better than average alcohol content.
The next batch that I make will be rhubarb wine, I've made that several times and I like the results.
Thanks for reading da post,eh!
