Is age just a number?

I've heard so many opinions about age from different people, some say it's just a number others say it's the level of maturity, while others say it's very important to them.



While chit-chatting with friends some days back, she made mention of her not ever imagining dating a guy she's younger than not to talk of marriage and then I showed her a picture on my phone I came across a a few weeks back.

I saw a couple though late now who proved that age is just a number, on the obituary, the wife was 74 years old while the husband was 65 years old that's about 9 years difference and I was awestruck cause it is very rare from the part I came from to see a man marry someone way older than he is.


After that, I did a little survey on the matter and asked both the guys and ladies I know about the point of view.

Some of the guys said, they could marry someone older than them but the age difference must not be that much, at least a year or two, while some guys say they prefer to marry someone er than them because the woman will act so mature and pamper them while others say never, they cannot marry anyone older than they are because the woman might disrespect them or take them granted.

Some of the ladies said, they could marry a guy they are older than, and they will still be submissive. 


From the look of things, everyone has different tastes and different points of view.
