Self destructive Version numbers
We are still at a stalemate in the Community versus Sun Witness war. I really can't see anyway out at the moment unless one side decides to change their tactic or approach and win more voters.

Before I go into this I am very much on the communities side and by that I mean all the community. Although I disagree with the idea of reduced power downs and removing downvotes put forth by the korean @Proxy.token I accept that these things are of concern for some people and I don't mind them being talked through till a consensus is formed. But, at the moment I think this is like worrying about the curtains while the house is on fire. We have just been centralised and that should be of great concern to everyone.

I have done my part by voting for Witnesses I believe represent what is best for the community and although my vote is quite small I take it very seriously as it is my only say in the running of the platform.

### Which Version of history do you want to be on?
Originally when all this mess started I votes for all the consensus witnesses to get them back in but I then learned that some of the version numbers of the code they were running were a direct insult to many of the Asian community. In their anger with Justin Sun they were hitting back in way that many would see as disrespectful to their culture.

Certain Witnesses have realised this insult and so have changed the version number even though it is the same code, many have not.

I still use my 30 votes but they are reserved for Witnesses that are running version 0.22.1. This is out of respect for the Asian community and in the hope it my deescalate the situation.
Thanks to all the witnesses fighting the good fight and to those running 0.2.4444 I think you are doing yourself and the community a disservice.

I'd like to finish this with a comment by @timcliff where he explains all the version numbers. It was on a post by @gduran called [Witnesses using different fork versions](https://steempeak.com/steemit/@gduran/witnesses-using-different-fork-versions)

22.1
No softfork changes. The clean version before all the "drama".

22.2
Softfork changes implemented by a super-majority of witnesses to prevent Tron's accounts from voting on witnesses, voting on content, voting on SPS proposals, powering down, and transferring stake. Details here.

22.3
My version of the soft-fork which prevented Tron from voting for witnesses, but did not block them from doing anything else. Details here.

22.333
@therealwolf's version. See his comment in reply to this post.

22.4444
Non-Tron witnesses running the same code as 22.1 (no softfork) but in symbolic protest of Tron's hostile takeover.

22.5
Tron witnesses running the same code as 22.1 (no softfork) who were put in place by Tron + exchanges as part of a hostile takeover.)
> 22.0
No softfork changes. The version before Steem release 22.1 which contained the patch described in GitHub here. Note: this version is compatible with 22.1.
