An Overview of the Customer Service Crisis We Are Currently Going Through, How Square, Inc. F^cked Me Over, & How Crypto Can Save Us...
## Let's just face the facts:

# Corporations run the entire business realm, and they don't care how bad their Customer Service is.

As if this wasn't enough, they typically give extremely shitty customer service, because they can afford to. If you are lucky enough to be able to call a customer support line of a large corporation, then you will most likely be greeted by an automated bot. As if that wasn't enough, you're probably going to have to waste a large amount of time "verifying yourself", not only to the bot, but also to the person the bot will most likely forward your call to. This person may live on the complete opposite side of the planet from you, and may just barely be able to speak your language.

# Sounds pretty familiar right?

This is the unfortunate world we live in. The customer service... Well... *it blows*. And gigantic corporations know about it, too. They just don't care. This is why Industrial-Organizational Psychology (IOP) is one of the fast-growing fields in the realms of business and psychology. IOP is all about making the employees happy, the clients happy, and the organization running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. It's essentially the application of Psychology, and common sense, with the business setting. It is very much inter-mingled with the Human Resources and Public Relations departments. This has recently become a huge interest of mine, as I am seeing how the business world is deteriorating daily. The situation is bad, and we need people with a few synapses to step in and do what they can do to help.

Let me tell you the story of how I got completely screwed over by Square Payment Processing. They're a _very_ popular payment processing service, and likely you have used it very recently, whether at a cafe or restaurant or some other business. Most companies are now switching to Square for payment processing. The story of how they completely screwed me over is pretty unbelievable but I assure you it's tragically true.

# I had been using Square for Card Processing and sending Invoices for over a year...

They even sent me some lame-ass "Happy 1 Year with Square Anniversary" email. This was essentially a celebration of them taking a % from all the money I was making for over a year (_hooray, right?_)... I had already processed thousands of dollars in orders of my Supplements Company (Seat of the Soul Supplements LLC) using Square's service. They knew exactly what I was doing, and they had known so for over a year. And things were great while they lasted! I was using them because they took out a slightly smaller percentage from each payment than PayPal did. It was a marginally-cheaper service, however these assholes balance it out by having the utmost shittiest customer service skills of all time.

# What did Square do to me? They Froze the funds from a $2,000 Invoice I had been paid. 

That's a dick move. I had been using their service to receive funds for my products for _over a year_, and they decide to freeze my account just because I received by first $2,000 invoice. Super-lame, and I was pissed to say the least, but it gets even worse than this!

# They made me re-verify myself. I was already verified from over a year ago...

This was an insult to my intelligence, that after a _year_ of doing business with me, they were concerned about what I did for a living. I may look like Walter White in the kitchen when I'm making supplements, but they are 100% legal and 100% good for people, so it's ludicrous that my supplements company would be under suspicion of a payment processing company which likely has far-more-sketchy clients than my business and I. So I took the time to gather a ridiculous amount of business documents that they requested, essentially as an act of ransom for the money I had just received.

# Then once I verify myself (again), they permanently deactivate my whole account, and tell me they will be holding my money for at least 90 days...

You can feel my furious rage building up through these pixels... To say I was pissed at this point would be the ultimate understatement. Not only was I being forcefully ejected out of this company I was using to accept payments, but these assholes actually had the nerve to steal my money and just hold onto it for _no reason_.

###### They didn't call me and talk to me.

###### They don't even know me, it seems.

###### They just deleted me without asking anything of me other than all the necessary business documents to verify myself.

# It doesn't end there though! They literally deleted my ability to _call them_...

These people are straight-up scumbags, and I hope you're realizing this by now. The Customer Service for Square clients is so atrocious that it makes me sick. If you do have a regular account with them, and you want to call them, you need to go online _first_, and choose what your "problem" is. Then, it tries to send you down into their FAQ section for 90% of their potential "problems" they list... On the off-chance your problem isn't listed in the (limited) FAQ section, they will give you a personal # you have to type in when you later call them on the phone. You simply can't call them without also being on the internet somehow, and if your account gets deleted by them (which can technically happen whenever they stop liking you), then _tadaaaaaah_, you can't even call them! And when you email them furiously asking how they have the balls to screw you over so hard, and _WHY THEY WOULD SO SOMETHING LIKE THIS_, they literally just send an automated message, like before, that the decision is final, and that you're done, and that they _WILL_ be indefinitely holding your money, for 90 days. My company's business has been uber-slow lately, and so to be able to sell 2 Lifetime-Memberships ($2,000 value) is a big deal! That's a lot of money to somebody who is barely getting by (like myself).

# Yup, I'm _pissed_. But I feel like Cryptocurrencies can save us from this bullshit.

Who wants to pay fees anyways? And who wants to rely on a "trusted 3rd party", when you can't even trust them? Do you think Square is having a hard time, and needs to hold onto my 2K for 90 days? _Of course not!_ But just like fiat banks, when you try to send money internationally from bank to bank (which takes days), all the banks that money passes through, will try to hold your money for as long as they can before they have to send it to the next bank. That's the thing about Scumbags, they love to hold onto shit that doesn't belong to them; They may even steal something and tell you "You'll get it back later, we promise".

# Zero Fees, Zero Percentage-Cuts for the Processors, Zero Wait-Time

These are the features that will cause Cryptocurrency to _obliterate payment processing companies from the face of the Earth!_ I have full faith in the ability of _Steem or Steem Dollars, or some other cryptocurrencies_ being able to get the attention away from these venomous parasites we call payment processors, and even dare I say, banks! Do you want all your money, or 97.75% of it? Do you want your money today, right now, or after a minimum of 1 business day? 

# These are questions we need to ask ourselves, because each time we go to these organizations for their service, and they make profit, we are strengthening the very companies who are screwing us over.

I believe we will eventually be able to reach a point of free-exchange, a peer-to-peer system, of which we are seeing a glimpse of: the tip of the iceberg if you will. Imagine when we have 1,000,000 active users here on Steemit, and they all start realizing you can _buy stuff_ with the rewards on here, and that there's no fees for accepting payment on here, or wait time, and it's all 100% public, even more so than _Venmo_, which is one of the few public fiat payment apps which offers 0% fees.

# In the midst of all this bullshit, I believe there are fantastic times ahead.

We are going through one of the absolute craziest times to be alive. We are literally watching the Fiat Enslavement System crumble more and more with each day, while we also watch the Crypto-Sphere grow more diverse and influential at the same time. It is only a matter of time before we wake up one day and the Crypto Market-Cap is sitting at $10,000,000,000,000. To some, this prediction may seem far-fetched, but to many, this is simply a waiting game. 

# Because when you see the amount of _POWER_ behind cryptocurrency, you realize that it's going nowhere but UP, and we are all lucky to be a part of this Socioeconomic Revolution!
