My 14 year old Daughter and I watched all of this movie except the last 5 minutes (or so). I have NEVER seen my girl react the way that she did to the end of Hachiko. 

One minute were were just sitting there, quiet as could be, fairly emotionless, and then BAM!!! my Daughter jumped up, screamed an intense bawling cry. While running away, she said "I hate this moviiiiieeeee". 

Such a great story and wonderful film. 

To those who haven't seen it, get the tissues ready.
