Bitcoin may be a bubble, DeepOnion can't
I'm sure everyone reading this post has already thought about if Bitcoin is a bubble or not, is it overvalued or conversely, underrated. Or even if it's a bubble how far can we go before the music abates? There is no doubt that blockchain is an innovative technology and Bitcoin has a value, but the arguments about such a high price also seem logical.

What about me, I do not think that I am sufficiently informed to draw any conclusions and honestly I don't think anyone is. That's why I prefer researching for currently underrated coins for investment, hidden diamonds, which are not inferior to Bitcoin but also aren't a subject of FOMO yet. I'm sure it's safer and may be much more profitable than investing in Bitcoin or top alts. Especially during the bearish market, when all alts are already on the bottom, and there is just no space to fall deeper.

## Why DeepOnion?

At first, I'm sure there are more underrated coins now and I would suggest to do some research yourself and never get all-in with just one or two of them. I choose DeepOnion for myself since I'm an ardent supporter of privacy in anonymity, on which DeepOnion is mainly focused. I did my research, I've joined the community, watched the development team, checked the roadmap and came up with the conclusion that DeepOnion is not just a shitcoin, though currently, it can be compared with them by the market cap.
I've already made multiple posts describing DeepOnion's unique features and the importance of cryptocurrency to be anonymous. Now I would like to just explain to you why DeepOnion is underrated and why it can rise in price even in case if the whole market will dump.

### It's better than current leaders
If you look at the top ranked coins, you may notice the Verge there, which represents itself as an anonymous cryptocurrency, while it's only anonymous feature is the Tor integration. DeepOnion has a native Tor integration by default too, but it also has much more features then Verge and even more features are coming soon. The only reason why is Verge on the top is that because McCafee chose it as a coin of a day. Unlike Verge, DeepOnion is still a younger currency and there was no big hype around it yet.

If we take a look at the upcoming DeepOnion features we'll see that they are going to implement ZCash's zero-knowledge protocol, CoinJoin technology like DASH, Ring signatures like Monero and even smart contracts, like Ethereum, until the end of the year. And considering the speed of the development team, they will undoubtedly do it. So we can say that until the end of 2018 DeepOnion will have all the top coin's features and even more.

Also, thanks to the PoW/PoS hybrid mining algorithm, DeepOnion provides much more secure but at the same time fast transactions. If you're following the news Ethereum is going to implement a similar algorithm, but DeepOnion already has it. So, we can see that DeepOnion's development team already resolved the scalability issues that currently leading coins are facing now.

### Low inflation
18M $ONIONs of the 25M total has been premined and is being distributed to community members in the form of an airdrop and bounties to promote and develop the project. That's the cause of current price dump, but once the airdrop is finished (in 4-5 weeks) there will be only 7M $ONION left, to be mined over next 10 years.

### Exchanges
Currently, DeepOnion is listed on 2 more or less well-known exchanges KuCoin and Cryptopia. The reason is again the airdrop since the major exchanges have a requirement that the cryptocurrency or token must at first finish the airdrop process before applying for the exchange listing. So, there is one more reason to think that once the airdrop is finished DeepOnion may start going up very fast.

So what I wanna say, is that considering the current market dump and many arguments and different opinions about Bitcoin, we may stay safe going for more underrated altcoins. And if you agree with me should definitely look closer to DeepOnion.

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for the comments and upvotes :)
Follow me and next time I'll try to go deeper into DeepOnion technical details and compare is other anonymous cryptocurrencies.
