Con el comienzo de la temporada escolar tambien hay un nuevo comienzo para mi que sin dejar pasar el tiempo empiezo con mi labor de hacer un par de "monos" o "buzos" para el jardin de niños. Es una nueva expericia que me llevó a la busqueda de un patron en la web y terminé en la página de mercadolibre.com donde el patron que yo necesitaba tenía un costo de 2$ o 2USD.
Pero en medio del trabajo de costura encontré un error extraño en el patron, tuve que descoser lo que había hecho para intentar de otra manera.

But in the middle of sewing work I found a strange mistake in the pattern, I had to unsew what I had done to try another way.

Tracé y corté el patron en papel asegurandome de entender bien las instrucciones para no equivocarme. Luego corté el patron en tela.

Cosí los bolsillos de la manera que la apertura del bolsillo quedara bien solapada sin interferir ocn la costura del resto del cuerpo del mono o buzo. Los bolsillos son conformados por 4 piezas se cosen dos en la parte delantera y las otras dos en la trasera, siempre a la misma altura.

I sewed the pockets in such a way that the opening of the pocket overlapped well without interfering with the seam of the rest of the body of the jumpsuit or jumpsuit. The pockets are made up of 4 pieces, two are sewn at the front and the other two at the back, always at the same height.

Cosí las dos piezas frontales y las dos piezas traseras. Pero después de cosida la entrepierna encontré el problema del patron; al coser de arriba abajo, como es más lógico quedaba todo abultado y deformado (lineas verdes).
Enronces tuve que desarmas lo cosido y despegar también las piezas de bolsillo pegadas a la parte trasera del mono.

Al coser las piernas de abajo arriba me he encontrado el resultado simetrico que deseaba. (allí está el error del patron) tuve que cortar alrededor de 4cm de la cintura trasera para nivelar todo.

I sewed the two front pieces and the two back pieces together. But after sewing the crotch I found the problem of the pattern; when sewing from top to bottom, as is more logical, everything was bulky and deformed (green lines).
So I had to take apart the stitching and also take off the pocket pieces attached to the back of the jumpsuit.

When sewing the legs from bottom to top I have found the symmetrical result that I wanted. (there is the mistake of the pattern) I had to cut about 4cm from the back waist to level everything.

He de admitir que di muchas vueltas con el primer mono que cosí, tuve que usar un poco de paciencia para solucionar el desface de los bolsillos, descosiendo para volver a coser.

Finalmente, después de coserle el elastico me dediqué a medir el ruedo e hilvanarlo antes de coser y dar por terminada la labor.

La elaboracion de este mono o buzo escolar fue un buen reto para mi y toda una enseñanza porque muchas veces no podemos saber lo que estamos comprando hasta que consumimos el producto, así pasa con este patron comprado en la web que terminó funcionando pero con un par de tropiezos.
</div>
