In the warnings page documented on several areas of the MWC registration page – to the point that you cannot miss it if you try – we note that by far, the easiest way to register public BTC addresses for the MWC airdrop is with a Trezor.

Though Ledger does not currently have the ability to sign messages – as the app it utilizes for this procedure is being phased out – it turns out BTC held on Ledgers (and Trezors) can be easily registered for using Electrum, as discussed earlier this week.
