...... is the only avenue when not in control. A big lesson thrown from left field this morning came with compliments from our Big Bank. They told our solicitor they had not received a discharge for the 'Release of the Mortgage', a document needed to complete the sale of our little rental. The funniest part of this story is that In November 2015 we paid off the little mortgage on this property and received the 'Release of the Mortgage' from this same Big Bank. Silly us assumed that this transaction was noted by the bank so we did not need to talk with them about it. It seems it was! No big deal really, we just wait another week or so for the process to be done. It is just another life situation that tests patience and understanding, accepting when not in control. No use getting upset, the bank will not listen. Keeping the ego at bay is the only control we do have! Funny enough life seems to provide plenty of opportunities for me to keep practicing. After we send this official document to the solicitor and drop into the bank for a quick chat, we just might go and enjoy a coffee and lunch somewhere really pleasant. All is well.  Have a fun day.
