La belleza entra por los ojos, y por eso hoy quiero hablarles de algunos libros que, si fuera por su portada, los leería sin pensarlo dos veces. > Hello, dear Hive community. Me intriga mucho entender el fenómeno que ha sido esta autora en Wattpad. El libro fue publicado hace poco y nos cuenta la historia de Caleb, un joven con habilidades especiales que lo hacen sentirse como un monstruo. Su vida ha estado marcada por decisiones cuestionables, y su nueva misión es vigilar a Victoria, una chica aparentemente normal… hasta que todo se complica cuando empieza a sentir cosas por ella. La portada, aunque simple, es hermosa. Tiene una ilustración muy bien lograda de la protagonista y transmite un aire de drama gracias a esas letras azules que me encantan. Si lo viera en una librería, lo compraría sin dudar. >I have this story between my eyebrows. I am very intrigued to understand the phenomenon that this author has been on Wattpad. The book was published recently and tells the story of Caleb, a young man with special abilities that make him feel like a monster. His life has been marked by questionable decisions, and his new mission is to keep an eye on Victoria, a seemingly normal girl... until everything gets complicated when he starts to have feelings for her. The cover, though simple, is beautiful. It has a very well done illustration of the protagonist and conveys an air of drama thanks to those blue letters that I love. If I saw it in a bookstore, I would buy it without hesitation. ___ ## 3. La danza de los cisnes/Swan dance– Claudia Ramírez y Raiza Revelles <center>[Source](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/217425230-la-danza-de-los-cisnes)</center> Aquí tenemos una reinterpretación del clásico *El lago de los cisnes*, lo cual me emociona muchísimo. Está escrita por dos influencers a quienes admiro desde hace años. La historia de fantasía nos lleva a un reino en peligro, donde parece que la única solución es un matrimonio arreglado entre la princesa Odelia y el príncipe Sam. Sin embargo, todo se complica cuando Sam se enamora del hermano gemelo de Odelia, desatando así una maldición sobre la familia real. La portada es mágica y elegante a la vez, con una combinación de colores preciosa. Me encanta cómo representa la dualidad de los cisnes y esos detalles de cuento de hadas que la hacen tan especial. >Here we have a reinterpretation of the classic *Swan Lake*, which thrills me to no end. Pascual <center>[Source](https://www.amazon.com/P%C3%A9talos-papel-Selene-M-Pascual/dp/8427227205)</center> Este libro lo quiero en físico desde hace mucho, y ahora con una edición limitada tan hermosa… ¡me dan ganas de llorar! La historia trata sobre Dani, una chica común que es transportada a Albión, un mundo gobernado por la realeza donde los visitantes como ella son tratados como sirvientes. El único que puede ayudarla a regresar es Marcus. Hablemos de la portada original: tengo una debilidad por este tipo de ilustraciones tan delicadas y expresivas. La tipografía me encanta, y sigo enamorada de esta portada. ¿Y quién no? > I've wanted this book in physical form for a long time, and now with such a beautiful limited edition... it makes me want to cry! The story is about Dani, an ordinary girl who is transported to Albion, a world ruled by royalty where visitors like her are treated like servants. The only one who can help her return is Marcus. Nos habla del oficial Jong Sungguk, quien durante una inspección rutinaria en una tarde lluviosa, descubre lo inesperado: una mujer muerta y un chico llamado Moon Daehyun encerrado en un ático. La historia se ambienta en Corea del Sur y, aunque en su momento tuve dudas sobre si leerla, la portada… ¡es *la* portada! Tiene un diseño minimalista y elegante, con tonos oscuros que varían hacia los morados. La ilustración es sutil, no destaca demasiado del fondo, pero queda perfecta. Siento que estoy viendo la portada de una obra de arte. ¿Qué opinan ustedes? >This is another story originating from Wattpad. It tells of Officer Jong Sungguk, who during a routine inspection on a rainy afternoon, discovers the unexpected: a dead woman and a boy named Moon Daehyun locked in an attic. The story is set in South Korea, and while I was hesitant to read it at the time, the cover... it *is* the cover! It has a minimalist and elegant design, with dark tones varying towards purples. The illustration is subtle, it doesn't stand out too much from the background, but it looks perfect. I feel like I'm looking at the cover of a work of art, what do you guys think? --- These are some of the covers that have made me fall in love at first sight. Without a doubt, if one were to read books by their cover, these would be at the top of my list. What about you?
