The millipede is part of the Arthropoda phylum family which literally means feet jointed. Its presence is often surprising because it has a resemblance to a venomous insect, the centipede.

The millipede turned out to have only three pairs of legs when it was just born. The number of legs will increase along with the age of the animal's foot a thousand.

A millipede can bite a human if it is threatened, its bite spreads enough toxic liquids such as those produced by scorpions or centipedes.
