Hello Steemies!

I wanted to tell you about my experience here at Steemit since I got started.. I started here on 13th of June in the evening. 
And this is my STEEMSTORY:

I actually started blogging like 2,5 months ago, after everyone told me for some years that I should write a book. 
They say I have a nice writing style, but all of the troubles in my life last years, made me only write for myself actually. 

A year ago we moved from Holland to Spain, and I can tell you, the sun gives you peace of mind a lot! Then I started writing again. Now with the goal to really write a book. Because at that point, I already had enough ideas and material to write about for like 10 books and a tv serie !

About 2,5 months ago a friend in Holland told me about a website I never heard about. She said you can post your blogs here and even pictures, and they reward you with real money. 
You get rewards that you can pay out once you pass the 10 euro milestone. And they pay weekly. 
Well, I made about 40 euro’s now, and it’s growing. But my boyfriend told me it’s not fair to get only this little of money for good content. 

I write long stories followed by many people with over a few thousand views in short time, but it’s only a few euro’s when you ask for pay out.
Then, this happened: my boyfriend couldn’t sleep and found SteemIt ! When I woke up in the morning 11th of June I believe It was, he was all excited and already send me the info by a message. I watched some video’s about SteemIt and I was instantly excited to get started!

The platform I already blog on is in Dutch, but already upcoming in English. So I knew if I would want to post my stories here, I need to translate it first. I got started with this, but it’s not finished. Good work takes time, you know 
And then finally, after submitting my e-mail at SteemIt on Sunday, I had to wait. And waiting feels like ages when you are excited about something, you know that right? Monday, nothing.. Tuesday the 13th of June 2017 is the magic day that my account was approved at, finally!! I got so excited ..

I could not wait to get started, so I thought let’s start with one of my passions: my love for drawing. I always was a creative girl at school when I was a child. And I got high grades for drawing classes, but I kind of stopped doing it for years and years. Why? Well, let’s say, my life was not easy those years. 
And then one day some weeks ago, I got the itchy feeling again to start drawing. I saw many nice things people made online, I wanted that too. My talent was wasted for too long! Well, just start then!

And, I did.. I already had a nice drawing book I bought last year (and never used lol) and I took a black roller ballpoint. (It was simply the best I had at that time…) And I started to draw the cat in mandala style. Somehow mandala drawings amaze me .. and I wanted to do something different.. So I did. It was a rough road, I can tell you. It took me blood, sweat and tears! And many hours, a back that hurts, but also so much satisfaction !!! 

My drawing progress I shared at the Dutch site I told about in the beginning of this post, and the comments were amazing! So that kind of made me smile, and gave me confident to post more. And so I did and I did.. And I still am. 

This was the first post I made here on SteemIt also. I posted it about 21.03 in the drawing section, and in one minute I got my first comment with the kind words: This is amazing, up voted and following you. Love to see more.
Is this really happening? In 1 minute I get a comment like this AND I got my first up vote AND follower  SteemIt is really Steaming!

 Wow. Let’s see where this goes… After several minutes I see I have made $ 0,01 for this post. Of course this is nothing yet, but hey, I just got started a few minutes ago!  
At midnight I posted my next drawing in the same style. An elephant. Let’s see what happens with this post …  Wow ! I was super surprised to see after only 27 minutes I had earned $ 1,61 !!! Oh peeps, I really already love SteemIt, and I am sure, this will be hard to keep myself away from lol

And right after I saw this, I had just finished my introduction text which I posted around half past twelve at nigh at the 14th of June. Let’s see how the responds are here. I tried to make a funny introduction of it, hopefully people are getting curious for more..
I also just saw, that after posting these 3 topics my score went up from 25 to 35. Not quite sure yet what this means, but I am learning still haha.


The second day on Steemit :

Today I was kind of busy and only posted 2 things. One was about Seville with some pictures. Nothing special, just to share some nice experience. This one did not get any up voting..  Maybe it was the right timing, writing or not interesting enough. I am trying some things and methods now, so hopefully I will found out 

The second post was about my pride ..the introduction text to my book that I am writing. I started writing this in Dutch and posted a part of the story (in 4 chapters) on the blogging site I spoke about in this post before. The introduction did not take too much time translating for me, so I decided today to post this right now on steemit to see what the respond would be. And hopefully get people excited to read it as soon as I post the story. 
And withing half an hour I got 6 votes and $ 0,71 

I will keep you guys updated about my experiences here. I still am a newbie, but hopefully my experiences are helpful to other new members.
Almost forgot to mention that my steempower went up to 37 now..
