One day Guruji called everyone and said only one word **"Come"** Swami Rama says we will be around 20 boys all followed Guruji. Guruji took all of us to the banks of the Tungabhadra river. And said, the one who will cross this river by swimming will be my disciple. It was the month of rain, it was full of water. At that time Tungabhadra was in full swing. It was dangerous to cross the wide river. The hands and feet of the boys became cold after listening to Guruji's words.

**One boy said "I can do it but I remember work at home, I have to go."** 

**The other boy said, "I don't know how to swim."** 

**The third one said, "There are crocodiles in the river; it is impossible to cross the river avoiding the crocodile".**

All the boys backed away by making excuses. But Swami Rama jumped into the river without saying anything. Guruji sat down and started looking at Swami Rama. There were crocodiles in the river, the speed of the water was fast, the river was wide. While trying, they crossed the dangerous river.

Challenge creates strength Swami Rama says I was not worried about the river. As soon as the words came out of my Guru's mouth, I had to fulfill them. There was not even a moment's doubt in my mind. I could only see the bank on the other side of the river.

Guruji looked at the other boys and said that he never called himself my disciple, yet he jumped. Guruji says that there are many followerss but very few disciples. Because there are 2 specialties in the disciple, the disciple has strong faith and strong determination.

Swami Rama says that when Guruji ordered to cross the river, I thought that if He wants us to cross the river, then we must have the ability to cross the river. That's why they told us like this. I had complete faith in my Guru and his orders. That's why I was able to do this.
