#### Introduction

I have made several promotions for open source projects in the past through a Facebook page created and managed by my Facebook account named Daniel Anya. Audacity is an excellent application and a good choice for audio processing which is why I decided to promote it.

#### Audience

The audience targeted included people between the ages of 18 and over 65 of both genders. These people included Students, workers and people with interests in cryptocurrencies. Major cities were selected in order to give the promotion a better reach.

#### Activity

On my Facebook page named **"Steemit Aces"** I made a post which not only describes Audacity, but encourages the audience to sign up. A link was left at the end of the post for more information and registration. The post was promoted for a total of 8 days. It started on 22/02/2018 and ended on 01/03/2018.  A total of $19 was spent on the promotion.
