Magpie in frost
### Hello, friends.

Today is my Bird Friday. What is it? This is the day when I don't leave for the office in the morning but stay at home to work. I sit by the window and sometimes look at the birds that jump at the feeder on the tree. I have almost stopped photographing tits, sparrows, bullfinches, and other birds that feed at the feeder every day.
I take the camera in my hands when an unusual bird appears on the tree. [Recently a woodpecker came to visit me](https://ecency.com/hive-106444/@apnigrich/my-long-beaked-and-red). And today a magpie arrived. Why is she alone? Why aren't there 2 or 3 of them? [I wrote about it not so long ago](https://ecency.com/hive-106444/@apnigrich/twix-sweet-couple).
Her beak, her eyes were covered with frost. It is clear that she really wants to eat. The next wave of frost has passed, it has warmed up outside, today it is only -20 degrees.

Very sorry for the magpie. It is very difficult for her to find food in our village. Garbage cans now have a lid, almost no one keeps animals in our village, those crumbs that fall from the feeder under the tree are not enough for her to grow, and even then these crumbs are picked up by other birds.
I can't feed another forty and crows. By the way, I haven't seen any crows near the house this week.

I hope that the magpies will live until spring. I'm used to them. I see them everyday and it will be very unpleasant to realize that my friends suddenly disappear like this, even though they are not people, but birds.
<br>
Recently, I bought sunflower seeds in a store to feed the birds and the seller told me that now I need a lot of money to help with the feed for the birds. Yes, that's for sure. But I can't help it.
Everything is getting more expensive, inflation is rising, and the employer does not increase wages. These are the realities of life.
