Jeez, lol.. My social media recently is almost all about crypto stuff lately.
That's fine though, I tend to talk about what's on my mind and move from subject to subject naturally as it's relevant to me.

Let's start with.. The rise in steem! 
Yesterday if I remember correctly.. Steem was around $3 and had been fluctuating from around $2.70 to $3.30 for a number of days, maybe even a week or so.. I'm not sure I lose track of time sometimes.
And then it jumped up to what I think was a high of.. $6.43. Once again, might not be 100% accurate, but it's close and it's what I remember seeing. And as I write this it's back close to $6 at $5.74

My estimated account value hasn't changed much for some reason and it's still showing me what it was when it was around $3 so I'm not really sure if that's just delayed and lagged or if something else is going on?
I don't understand why the value/price has doubled and my account is still roughly where it was before the double? I dunno.. I tend to think it's just lagged and not showing me the proper numbers.

Anyways.. Super exciting whatever the case! I think some people are going to take steem a lot more seriously after this! Unless it goes down bad, but I mean.. If it continues to hang around this number for a while or even go up.. I think it's going to be a major pull.

I've seen some people claiming they didn't trust steem because it's had such a low value for so long.. After it went up to $3 something back in July last year it's been pretty low for a while! I think it even went down under 20 cents at one point? Once again, this is from my memory and may not be 100% accurate.

The biggest critic of steem, Tone Vays said around a year ago or so that he predicted it was going straight down to pretty much zero, and.. That is definitely not what happened! It appears as if it has raised to new records and might even continue upwards! Exciting. :)

Also I was watching more videos on the TAX stuff with cryptos recently, and.. It does look more and more like this was a new law that I spoke about the other day in regards to the gubbamint trying to tax all transactions.
And.. It looks like Trump is going to take some serious flak for this one, even though I dislike/hate him I admit that he seems to have had pretty good popularity among many people I know.

Yet.. I think that's going to RAPIDLY go down if he keeps trying to fuck with crypto. Hopefully this reveals his true colors to a lot of his hardcore fans even if the murder of countless innocent people over seas including an 8 year old American girl wasn't enough.

And finally.. I wanted to announce that I am indeed going to be making a challenge/contest series on steemit soon. :)
Hopefully in the next few days though I want to really iron it out and think about it a lot before I begin. 
I've got a lot planned and typed up and it's looking great so far! I wanna do a lot of different challenges from like photography to meme making to jokes and short stories and puzzles and music and on and on..

It's sort of going to be like an "iron man" or "triathlon" kind of contest except on the internet and in your brain to figure out lots of different kinds of challenges.
Right now I'm trying to decide what the grand prize is.. But.. Was going to do something low at first like 50 steem..
Though now.. I'm leaning towards 200 steem! Make it a big deal and a serious competition.. I think if the reward is higher more will participate and try harder. :)

It's going to be a long challenge though.. Like.. Probably half a year or more.. I'm going to do a LOT of different things and the person who wins the most of them at the end will get the grand prize.
Also each individual challenge won will get the steem from that partiuclar post awarded to them, and I should be able to award over a $1 for each challenge, so at the very least each challenge winner will get 1$ worth of steem and the ultimate winner will get a big jackpot!

To some of you 200 steem might not seem like a lot.. Yet.. Right now.. With steem valued around $6.. That would be like around.. $1200 worth in USD... I think?
And if the value of steem goes up, that could be worth a lot more! So.. I think it's pretty significant.. I've never done anything quite like this before where I offered a prize worth potentially around $1200 or more..
Which is one reason why I want it to be a really long grueling challenge and only the most badass will get the grand prize.

I'm doing this partly to give back, and I admit I'm also doing it partly to grow my blog. 
I won't be making any steem/money off of this directly, but I probably will gain some "followers" to my blog.
Just wanted to sort of lay out my intentions right away.. It's both to help other people and to help grow my blog. 

Anyways.. I think that's enough for now.. I'm super super super excited about this new challenge/contest thingy I'm working on and.. I think it's going to be a lot of fun! :)
I'm also super excited about the future of steem and crypto currency, I haven't been so excited in a while.. Between steemit going up in value and me working on this challenge/contest.. I'm happier than I've been in a while. :)
It feels good to be productive and creative and doing something meaningful with my time. I look forward to sharing the challenge/contest with you soon! Peace.

PS.. One thing I'm still trying to figure out is how I'm going to pick winners.. I don't really trust upvoting since people can so easily bot things...
I'm thinking either I have to just decide myself, or.. Find a few other people to be judges, and if I do that I'll probably have to pay them some steem as well..
So.. I'm still trying to figure that part out and a few other minor aspects, but I'm getting pretty close! :) Additionally I might want a few little pictures drawn up for this whole thing.. So if you're interested in being a judge or drawing up a few simple pictures for me.. Lemme know!
