Hi Asean Hive friends  In addition to trade, agriculture is also one of the most important factors for maximizing the economy of the people in an area, especially in Indonesia, where the staple food is rice, such as in Aceh. However, in each area the rice harvest period in the fields is different, some harvest in August and some areas harvest rice in December, like in the area where we live.  On this occasion I would like to show some of the rice conditions from the farmers' fields around where I live, besides the national road, the Pidie Jaya district government also provides a highway to maximize the work of the farmers.   While taking a leisurely walk on a motorbike this afternoon I decided to take some pictures of the condition of the rice fields in front of me. Here I see the rice in these fields growing very well and looks very full, of course the rice that will be produced is also of very high quality. The rice stalks that have started to turn yellow indicate that the rice in this field will soon be harvested. Satisfied with enjoying the view of the rice fields with a beautiful mountain background, I am now back on my way again.   But here I am again observing the rice fields where the rice still looks young with the color of the leaves still green and the rice seeds have not grown at all, even though the distance from the previous rice fields was only about 5 kilometers, even though it is still in one area this difference in rice growth can be caused by the difference in the irrigation waterways that flow through these fields. At the end of this highway I found several rice fields that looked like they had been harvested, and here I stopped briefly to see the process of harvesting rice using a harvesting tractor. This is also a new rice harvesting tool in our area which makes people still really like watching the process of harvesting rice using this sophisticated tractor.   After 15 minutes of observing this tractor harvesting rice, I decided to go home because it was getting late. This is my story today, see you in the next post.
