It's time to switch phones

Here are my first impressions of the Samsung Galaxy S8 plus

# Ergonomics

The screen is really big 6.2 "but less wide, which makes it really easy to take in hand.
Unlike the iphone 6+ I used, the latter and less annoying in the pocket.
It is also nicer on a call.

The bixby key (personal assistant) is really useless and is sometimes pressed unintentionally.

For the other buttons, it remains classic, only the sensor of digital borrowing has been moved to the back of the telephone.
Its use remains practical.

# Screen

Its maximum resolution of 2960 x 1440. Possible to choose a lower resolution to save battery.
Reading an article or a web page is more functional

When watching a video, the stream will be adapted to the screen, black borders will appear.
It will be possible to enlarge the image to pass full screen but the image will be cropped.

# APN

I do not have much testing yet, the pictures can be taken with automatic settings or with the professional mode that will allow you to customize everything.

The video mode seems okay in outdoor but in dim light the display gets grainy.

# Accessories

The Galaxy S8 plus comes with its USB-C charger, an earphone.

I was pleasantly surprised to find in the box a USB-C to micro USB adapter and especially a USB to USB-C adapter
You can thanks to it plug a USB key for example

# Battery
Negative point on most phones, this one is not too bad. With a capacity of 3400 mAH
Having just bought it, I wait a few days to get an idea of the autonomy.

I want for the moment a full day (average use) with maximum resolution, automatic lighting.

I advice you if like me, you want to switch from IOS to Android
