Have I Took a Step Forward?</center>  </center> <div class="text-justify"> A little over a month has passed since [this post](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-splinterlands-how-much-dec-do-i-own-and-how-much-dec-am-i-earning) where I summarized the situation regarding the DEC I earn on Splinterlands. My sources of income haven't changed and remain: - renting out my cards; - renting out my SPS. What has changed, however, is the composition of my collection, as [a week ago](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-i-finally-purchased-a-maxed-rebellion-epic-card-will-it-be-worth-it-lfb) I invested more than two-thirds of my saved DEC to buy a max-level copy of the epic card **Redwyrm Dragon**. The main goal was, of course, to add a new source of income to my collection to boost the DEC I earn daily. <br> ## <center>Increased Earnings!</center> As expected, adding a card of such great value – *at least for me* – immediately impacted my earnings. In the first few days, I saw an increase ranging from 50 to 150 DEC per day. Combined with what I was already making from renting out my other cards, this translated into at least doubling my earnings, now consistently around 100 DEC per day. <center>  </center> Relative to the value of my collection, this income translates to an APR of about 20%, as shown on PeakMonsters.com. <center>  </center> I’m very happy with this number, not just because it’s objectively a great ROI, but also because it equals or even surpasses what I could have earned by renting SPS of the same value. Some time ago, I expressed doubts about whether it was more beneficial to invest my DEC in cards or SPS, as the latter, between staking rewards and rentals, offer a return that isn’t far from 20% annually. Seeing that my cards reach and even exceed that rate gives me a lot of satisfaction because it confirms that, at least for now, my choice has been the right one. > And I’d like to thank @tarabh and @stefano.massari for suggesting that I consider diversifying my investment more carefully. After deducting the **Rental Golem** fees from Splex.gg, my weekly earnings come to about 650 DEC. <br> ## <center>And the SPS?</center> On the SPS side, there aren’t any significant updates: my staking rewards are not particularly high, so my SPS increases very slowly. The DEC I earn daily has stayed more or less the same, although the APR has dropped slightly. <center>  </center> With an APR of 5.4%, I earn about 100 DEC per week, which comes to a bit less once fees are subtracted. Adding up these two sources of income, I earn about 750 DEC per week, which translates to **1500 DEC** over an average Splinterlands season. This is a significant increase compared to my earnings a month ago, and it gives me hope for my future in the game: the more I can earn, the more DEC I have to reinvest in buying new cards to fuel this cycle. Ho Fatto dei Passi in Avanti?</center>  </center> <div class="text-justify"> E' passato poco più di un mese da [questo post](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-splinterlands-how-much-dec-do-i-own-and-how-much-dec-am-i-earning) in cui facevo un po' il punto della situazione con riguardo al DEC che guadagno su Splinterlands. Le mie fonti di guadagno non sono variate, e sono sempre: - il noleggio delle mie carte; - il noleggio dei miei SPS. Ciò che è cambiato è invece la composizione della mia collezione, dato che [una settimana fa](https://peakd.com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/engita-i-finally-purchased-a-maxed-rebellion-epic-card-will-it-be-worth-it-lfb) ho investito più di 2/3 del DEC che avevo da parte acquistare una copia al massimo livello della carta epica **Redwyrm Dragon**. L'obiettivo principale era ovviamente aggiungere una nuove fonte di introiti alla mia collezione con cui incrementare il DEC che guadagno ogni giorno. <br> ## <center>Guadagni in aumento!</center> Come c'era da aspettarsi, l'introduzione di una carta di così grande valore - *almeno per me* - ha subito avuto delle ripercussioni sui miei guadagni che, nei primi giorni, hanno visto un aumento che va dai 50 ai 150 DEC al giorno. Sommato a ciò che già ottenevo noleggiando le altre mie carte, questo si è tradotto almeno in un raddoppio dei miei guadagni, che adesso si attestano stabilmente sui 100 DEC al giorno. <center>  </center> In rapporto al valore della mia collezione questo introito si traduce in un APR di circa il 20%, come è possibile vedere su PeakMonsters.com <center>  </center> Si tratta di un dato che mi piace molto, non solo perchè è oggettivamente un'ottima ROI, ma anche perchè equivale, e anzi supera, ciò che avrei potuto ottenere noleggiando SPS per un pari valore. Qualche tempo fa avevo infatti espresso il dubbio sul se potesse essere più conveniente investire il mio DEC in carte ed SPS, dato che questi ultimi fra staking rewards e noleggio assicurano un ritorno non tanto inferiore al 20% annuo. Vedere che le mie carte raggiungono ed anzi superano quel valore mi dà perciò una bella soddisfazione, perchp mi conferma che, almeno per ora, la mia scelta si è rivelata corretta. > e ringrazio @tarabh e @stefano.massari che mi hanno dato questo suggerimento, invitandomi a considerare con più attenzione la possibilità di diversificare il mio investimento. Tolte le commissioni del **Rental Golem** di Splex.gg, il mio guadagno settimanale si attesta quindi sui 650 DEC circa- <br> ## <center>E gli SPS?</center> Lato SPS non ci sono particolari novità: le mie staking rewards non sono particolarmente alte, per cui i miei SPS aumentano molto a rilento. Il DEC che ottengo ogni giorno è quindi più o meno rimasto invariato, anche se l'APR è leggermente calato. <center>  </center> Con un APR del 5.4% ottengo circa 100 DEC a settimana, che diventano poco meno una volta tolte le commissioni. Sommando queste due fonti di guadagno emerge che ogni settimana ottengo quindi sui 750 DEC, che fanno quindi **1500 DEC** se considero quanto dura di media una stagione su Splinterlands. Un netto incremento rispetto a quelli che erano i miei guadagni un mese fa e che mi fa ben sperare per il mio futuro sul gioco: più infatti riesco a guadagnare, più DEC ho da reinvestire per acquistare nuove carte con cui alimentare questo processo.
