Hi everybody here on Steemit. So far it’s been a stormy day across our lands. The winds have driven me into a local den. Sitting here on an oak log, I'm about to have a gulp of some mulled wine and finally introduce myself to the Steemit community. It's about time.

Other than jolly eating and drinking, I’ve recently kissed goodbye my 72h/week day/night security job. Why? In a perfect world, to have the time to dazzle you with the full splendor of my imagination ;-) Also, to become location-independent, as I’ve grown tired of having the course of my life shaped by the whims of one company or another.
Now, I can still hardly believe I went for broke and quit that decade-long grind, but what’s done is done – no turning back now! In any case, I can finally get some sleep, which tends to stimulate the creative juices within me.
