 # Spring. It was dawn before spring when I asked The forbidden question, the one that made my walls crumble into dust Wait for me, you said Your sad voice etched into my head Your tone as smooth as the rain A sharp contrast to my rough pain I told you I would wait forever As long as we could be together You gave a weak smile, a soft laugh "Maybe one day, when life isn’t so tough" I waited for you But you never came I waited for you But I would've never be the same I waited for you Till the whites all turned black I waited for you... But you never came back. # Summer. It was noon during summer when you came crashing in With battle scars on your arms, and scratches on your knees I embraced you with open arms, you gave me a frozen grin There was salt on your cracked lips, and I didn’t have the heart to ask you where'd you been As soon as you appeared You went missing from my life The only thing I had from you was a plead, and the sharp verbal knife Wait for me, you said again With a torn heart I agreed You were so relieved and whispered "until then" I waited for you But you never came I waited for you But I would've never be the same I waited for you Till the whites all turned black I waited for you... But you never came back.
