Reusable Write & Wipe Tracing Sheets

I have 2 pre-K kiddos and while they are not yet formally enrolled with our Homeschool provider, we also do lots of educational activities at home. While Little Miss learned most of her writing on her own- she learned to write all letters without my intervention, I am still teaching her to write her full name. It is kind of long and so far she can do her first name and her nickname. One day while browsing on the feed of a homeschool group that I follow online, I found this post about a **write and wipe** tracing pad. I thought it was neat and decided to make for my two pre-K's. I grabbed a coloring pen and some board paper and started to make outlines of Little Miss' name. I have some clear plastic files so I inserted the template there and asked Little Miss to use a white board marker to trace on it. She immediately started tracing and was finished in no time. While at it, I also made another sheet for numbers and shapes. This will let her recognize number words apart from it also became an opportunity for an art session. She wanted to be the one to color the drawings, even made a "diamond!"

Simple and Easy

#### Materials Required: 1. Any kind of board paper 2. Coloring pens 3. Clear plastic file 4. Whiteboard marker 5. Pencil 6. Ruler #### What You Need to Do Create your template by first making ruled markings on your board paper. This will be your guide when writing. Write the text you would like your child to trace on the first line. In my case I made their names, numbers and shapes. Create the traceable text by making dotted lines. Repeat for as many times you desire. Insert your template on a sheet of plastic file. *Viola!* Enjoy teaching your little kids to write without too much paper. This will help the kids enjoy writing and learn proper strokes at the same time. I can imagine a lot of other activities you can make with these reusable tracing sheets. Math activities, perhaps? Let's see. ❤️ Arlyn https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmPagJm36sNk7pXHxMVqBy2tHoPZX2tsG5aNMNpggnqNQX/phbanner-compact-arrliinn.png
