This exercise has helped me to locate several photographs from my album and talk about them, about me.

Nature is always in motion, perhaps one of the most wonderful ways to see it is through a timelapse, although it can also be verified with the passing of time.

This video took me just under 4 hours to finish, I spent from 6am to 10am waiting for the flower to finish its opening cycle in strong sunlight. On cloudy days it does not open fully due to the low light, to this I must add that these garden flowers are under a large tree.

The following image pleases me too much. It is a cute butterfly whose camouflage system is more than enough to scare away different predators. It has powerful false eyes that simulate a large mammal or perhaps huge owl eyes. This species of butterfly is almost always perched on similarly colored tree bark.

Very steep slopes mean that homeowners have to build anti-landslide retaining walls. What I like about this system is that it does not suppress all organic life, we can see how the concrete blocks leave space for new vegetation to grow freely.

The last image is also of camouflage, it is a kind of praying mantis that I found while I was taking some panoramic photos of a wooded view. It was there letting itself go with the wind, short movement looking towards the camera because it has to be ready for battle.

In conclusion random photos are one of my favorite photo exercises, it forces me to search through my album for photos that I sometimes forget I have saved. It helps me to continue to appreciate nature, my surroundings. It makes me feel alive and happy to enjoy different facets of nature.
