Warning. This is a lame self promotion post ---------------------------------------- A few months back, when I was pretty new to Steemit, I decided to create an article showing people how to increase their amount followers if they were struggling. The post did well. Got great feedback, a decent payout, but to my big surprise, I would continue to get replies, and I start to think; "Why?" Do people really just stumble upon on Steemit? Do people find my account and scroll 7 months back? Maybe, but the main reason, I found out, was when I tried to google something that I would assume a lot of people would google. "How to increase followers on steemit". And boom! My post is ranked number 1. You can find the post [here](https://steemit.com/steemit/@arsenal49/how-to-increase-followers-a-guide-for-new-steemers) --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Apparently, my post is still gaining views day by day, but of course, the payout has stopped. As I write this post, the article has about 587 views with a total of 165 votes and 126 comments. It's surely one of my most successful posts. Being extremely happy with the result, now that I know it's still helping newcomers, I decided to read it. It's okay, but no more than that. Therefore I have decided to create a new guide which I will post in the coming days. ----------------------------------------- Should it be possible to get rewards more than 7 days after the post has been posted? There will come a time where the post will get thousands of views and upvotes, and not benefit from it. I might get a few followers now and then. Would there be any way to make it possible to still get rewards. Maybe SMT will be able to fix that? Do you think it should be possible to still get rewards after the 7 days period?
--------------------------------------
