I'm sure there are many who will say this, just as there are many who will say you were (are!) an important connector across groups, countries and cultures. 

My daughter is about to leave the nest and I'm learning that I DON'T live for my child - in the end I have to live for me and that greater-bigger thing that is humanity.  And consciousness.
