Steemit is great right? but I sometimes think that there are things missing from the site that could make it better, what do you think? **If you put someone's name in a post or comments/replies it should be advertised in the top corner and there should be a link to see what's been said.**  **If you like a post you can follow it by clicking a follow button.** I look at competitions on steemit all the time, mainly drawing photo's and art. but sometimes I don't have the time to do the work there and then, so I should be able to follow that one post and be able to find it easier than having to scroll back through all the posts that have come onto steemit since I last looked. **have the ability to remove comments from posts that steemians don't want to see.** These follow me because I have followed you posts really get on my nerves, I am grateful that you have followed me I really am but if I don't like your content I am not going to follow you just because you asked. bot comments also are really annoying, some do a great job but I like human contact, not a program. there should be a way to remove comments, or at least hide it so my other followers don't have to see them. **for new users who have never been on steemit before, there should be a quicker signup.** I have heard from some people that it took days to get onto steemit, this should not be that long, maybe using a different verification method would work better, what about letting fellow steemians verify accounts of people. I don't mean new users letting new users in, but whales and dolphins should have an invite friend to the site link. This could also be a factor when someone's reputation score is over 55.
