Whenever Crypto Winter comes it also brings forwards a lot of FUD with them and the majority of them are fake news but the fact is that some of them are indeed factual news which gets dumped under the massive amount of fake news circulating the Internet. We currently have a great example of Celsius where there were reports of some dubious things but the majority of the people including me ignored them. Even though I had no stake in Celsius I still am sad that it collapsed the way it did as that definitely hurt a lot for the Cryptocurrency Market in General. But at the same time, there was a bunch of FAKE news that started to circulate regarding various exchanges and KuCoin was one of those exchanges that had a bunch of Bad news coming out during this Bear Phase.


So it seems now KuCoin is taking things into its own hand by creating a Fund that fights FUD. Yes, you heard it right they are creating an Anti-FUD Fund which will actively help to reduce the amount of FUD spread around the entire Crypto World. Now as much as I would love to say that this is the absolute best thing to happen I can't ignore the obvious downsides of this initiative. On one side it is good that we can get reliable info thanks to this Anti-FUD initiative but at the same time, you have to be concerned that the news you will be receiving will be from a centralized party that may have their own AGENDA. In this case, KuCoin itself could make some false news related to their exchange to avoid any Negative Press no matter the cause.

So yeah even though this Antiu FUD is nice to hear we have to be cautious where we get our news from.
