As I said yesterday my very first investment came quite late at the edge of me turning 30 and even then my first Investment was a Recurring Deposit of 1000 INR. Yes, it was my first Investment Blunder as I had no clue about how Inflation worked. But thankfully I learned about Inflation pretty early after my first Investment so I understood that I needed more ROI than what Inflation was eating away.


So the next Investment I made was once again of 1000 INR but this time I Invested in a Bluechip Equity Mutual Fund which was investing in the Top 50 companies in India and I started a SIP in that Mutual Fund for 1000 INR per month. At that time it was projecting an ROI of 15% which was good for me but a lot of things happened and now it is giving me an ROI of 24% which is fantastic. I have to say this was a pretty good Investment and to date, I am still pooling in money every month in that Mutual Fund.
