what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing?
In this content i want to share about what decision i need to make in the future. I am kinda confused what to buy for the next legendary Rebellion Archons. Both of them is kinda expensive and yep they are very useful in mostly modern battle. They are Cryptic and Elias. 
Lets breaking down what makes me confused how to pick the best archons for my deck.

Okay before explaining why i am confused. I think it is better if i explain my circumtances first. Yep i am scholar that usually play in tournament and some account on Modern ranked. And every week i got paid almost 30-40$ which is from scholar i can upgraded my own deck. So, if you need me as scholar you can reach me on Discord. I will be pleasure and yeah you are helping me building my deck. 
So, I already started instalment on Eternal Tofu and Pickles lately. Thats why if you following my content i am mostly building life and earth element first. Thats because i already having Tofu. But, building Rebellion deck and Conclave Arcana is not cheap. So, what can i do is buying little by little each week and with this i can reduce my rent cost and can buy more. My target for next month is i can reducing 30% of my renting cost so i can upgrade my deck little bit faster. And if i can get some scholar account it can boosting my account too.  
After i collect and building Eternal Tofu line up deck. Right now i need to considering what the next startegy to build first. 
I prefer building water of course because i dont know since Chaos Legion Edition Water element is kinda super strong fast,steady,and formidable. Thats why i will choosing Water element next after building Life and Earth element. But, which one i need to choose. Either Water with Life element or Water with Death element.

Okay first lets see about how i using Cryptic. For your information, i am still hovering on Champion 3 around 3700-3900 rating yeah just touching Champion 2 and goes down again. So, i dont know my strategy maybe could work on Low rating Champion and cannot be used at High tier Champion rating battle. But, one thing that i know when seeing High Champion rating when using Cryptic, that is using **Commander Slade** as the main Defence.

So, i already have some part for making this blind strategy works. What i need is buying the rest key cards. Lets see what i have and what i need for Cryptic deck.

## What I have

Commander Slade is the key for this strategy work. Because this unit already having high speed that is 6 and having dodge ability. And the bonus ability that really deadly is Backfire ability which is giving damage if this unit avoid any attack. And the good part of this unit is having Enfeeble that can reduce the melee damage until reaching to just 1 and this unit will not any back damage like thorns and cannot get blast too since this unit having Deflect ability.

## What I Need

The first card that i need is either **Rune Arcanist** or **Jicarila**. But, lets using Rune Arcanist since this card kinda cheaper than Jicarila. Why i need buying this card because this card having **Phase Ward** ability. And this ability open when reaching level 4. So basically i need at least this card reaching level 4 first. Then we can combined with Commander Slade and make Commander Slade having phase ability that can avoiding any magic type attack. That will be super hard to touching Commander Slade with the helping of this unit.

Next what i need is **Daarg Deadblast**. This unit having pretty good ability even though this unit is having just 1 speed. This unit having Weapons Training that can make non Attacker unit like Daigendark Surveyor or Yaba's Pickle can having attack. And this unit also having swiftness that can making Slade getting 1 additional speed. Then this unit having Triage that can support the backline unit.

The third is **Anasth Soothsayer**. I need using this support unit because Just in case if the RNG was so bad or if opponent using unit that having true strike ability or using Risquirel Darth as Archons that can gives 2 unit true strike ability. Thats why i still need to bring any unit that can healing my tanker. If having Jicarila it can save spot and no need bring this unit. But considering the cheapest way. Thats why bring this unit kinda pretty good.

The rest of the team is just maybe the Non attackers unit or attacker or debuff support unit, it can be fillings depends on the ruleset. But, those are the blind combo unit that really strong. But, i dont renting Rune Arcanist nor Jicarila so, sometimes in usual ruleset i cannot using Cryptic with blind combo because i will be doomed if opponent using Magic type attack. 
Lets see for the Elias Max Pruit Set card with Armory Combo

For Elias i really dont have my ownself battle since i dont get the rent in those 2 season for Elias thats why i just pick up the higher rating battle as example. You can look by just clik on the image above. Mostly same with Cryptic the carry on Elias Armory Combo still depend on Slade as main carry. Even sometimes we can subtitute with Leolin Sifu. But, still sometimes using Slade is better for me at least. Errrr, i think it depends on the ruleset i guess.

Same with Cryptic, I usually using Commander Slade for the main attacker since this unit having 7 armor at first. So, it would be great damage and can killing fast the frontline tanker since there is no more unit that having forcefield ability in Modern set card. And also this unit having Deflect that can be hurt by thorns ability. Thats why i prefer using this as Carry.

The second is i already have this Silverblade Fighter. Even though right now still level 5. But, in the future i will be maxed this card too. So, yep i already having 2 card that can be armory combo for Elias Max Pruit in my deck. Especially Silverblade Fighter at max level having huge armor amount and also having Void Armor as defence againts magic type attack. And also giving additional 2 armor for entire allies and will make Slade having more additional armor and can be deadly if giving Armor strike to Slade.

## What I Need to Have

I need some distraction for ruiting any opponent attack to directing to taunter unit because i dont want to lose any armor that my carry bring. Thats why i need this Bera Dallin as Taunt tanker and this card is legendary ones. And yeah legendary is expensive. But,really worth it having this card as tanker.

Next is I need Commander Goff as support and i need for this unit ability Inspire and Resurrection. That will bring alive tanker and make my carry can attack more. And also this unit can be great as tanker too especially for backline tanker. since having dodge ability and also already having high speed.

The rest is usually need support that having triage ability or any unit that having protect ability to maximalize the addition of armor on carry unit. It would be really destructive especially after the armor reaching more than 10. Okay based on what i have on my deck. Yes of course Buying Elias is better one. But, in ranked modern battle i usually using more Cryptic than Elias. Maybe because i never get Elias on renting. Hopefully next season i will get Elias and i can try battle using Elias.
