[HTC](https://www.htc.com/us/)  Corporation is a Taiwanese consumer electronics company based in Xindian District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. HTC is creating  [Blockchain](https://steemit.com/blockchain/@asad21221/blockchain-simple-explanation) based secure Phone with the help of Litecoin creator Charlie Lee. 



In a recent tweet Charlie lee announced:

This HTC device will support Lictecoin (LTC) through Lightning Network which is more scalable and faster transaction. It will also support Bitcoin and number of cryptocurrency. 
 
[HTC](https://www.htc.com/us/) Exodus team not yet revealed the release date of this blockchain based phone. This will be world's first [Blockchain](https://steemit.com/blockchain/@asad21221/blockchain-simple-explanation) powered smart phone which can be used for smart contract, decentralized applications and can be explored the  [Blockchain](https://steemit.com/blockchain/@asad21221/blockchain-simple-explanation). 

HTC is no the only company which is working on blockchain powered smartphont. Earlier this year, Sirin Lab announced their first  [Blockchain](https://steemit.com/blockchain/@asad21221/blockchain-simple-explanation) powered smart phone.
