The city of Qom, located in Iran, is a significant religious center for Shia Muslims. It is a place where one can observe religious activities at every corner of the city. The city is renowned for its rich culture and heritage, and the people of Qom take immense pride in their religious practices. The weather in Qom is always pleasant, and the markets and streets are always illuminated with colorful lights, which makes the city more attractive.

# DISCOVERING THE KNOWLEDGE AND LEGACY OF SHABISTAN KHUMEINI LIBRARY

During my visit to Qom, I had the opportunity to visit the Bibi Masooma (a.s) Haram, which is a holy shrine for the Shia Muslim community. The place inside the Haram is enormous and has various sections for different discussions and visits. I was amazed to see the grandeur of the shrine, and it was an incredible experience to be able to visit such a holy place.

After spending some time in the Haram, I thought of exploring the Shabistan Khumeini Library, which is located within the Haram complex. This library is named after Ayatollah Khomeini, who was the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is one of the largest libraries in the country, housing thousands of books on religious, historical, and political subjects.

Upon entering the library, I was struck by the vast collection of books that lined the shelves. The library has a significant collection of Islamic literature, which includes books on the history of Islam, Quranic studies, and books on the lives of the Prophet Muhammad and his family. I was also impressed to see the Iranian leader's pictures, which were placed in different parts of the library.

Apart from books, the library also has a section dedicated to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation during different fights. The section showcases the pictures of the martyrs along with a brief description of their heroic acts. It was heartening to see the respect given to the martyrs in the library.

# MARTYRS SECTION AT SHABISTAN KHUMEINI LIBRARY

The library itself is incredibly vast, and I was only able to visit a small portion of it due to time constraints. However, the section that I visited was well-maintained and had a peaceful environment, perfect for reading and studying. There were several students who were engrossed in their books, and it was evident that the library was an important academic center.

One of the most impressive aspects of the library was the beautiful chandeliers that were hanging from the ceiling. The chandeliers were ornate and added to the grandeur of the library. Despite the presence of a large crowd, the library was peaceful and quiet, making it an ideal place for anyone looking for a serene environment to read or study.

My visit to the Shabistan Khumeini Library at Qom Haram was a memorable experience. The library is a treasure trove of knowledge, and the vast collection of books makes it an essential resource for anyone interested in Islamic literature.
